Notary Public & Legal Documents

Important documents. Proper attention.

From an affidavit to a certified copy, the purpose of a document matters. We help identify the service required, explain appointment preparation and complete the work within the appropriate legal and receiving-institution requirements.

Affidavits & statutory declarations

We assist with affidavits and statutory declarations for a range of personal, business and legal purposes. The appointment should establish whether you need drafting, review or commissioning only. A declaration or affirmation must reflect the actual facts and the proper execution process; commissioning is not a substitute for legal advice on the document's effect.

How we help

  • Document preparation or commissioning enquiries
  • Declared / affirmed statements as appropriate
  • Review of signing and identification requirements

Certified true copies

A receiving organization may require a certified copy rather than an ordinary photocopy. We review the original and the requested certification, and advise what to bring to the appointment. Certification requirements vary, so supply the receiving organization's instructions before attending where possible.

How we help

  • Original-document and copy comparison
  • Certification of eligible documents
  • Review of recipient-specific instructions

Powers of attorney

A power of attorney can have important consequences for the person granting authority. We discuss the intended use, relevant jurisdiction and requested service before arranging the work. Drafting, independent advice, witnessing, notarization and overseas-use requirements are different tasks and should not be treated as interchangeable.

How we help

  • Purpose and document-requirement discussion
  • Preparation or review within the agreed mandate
  • Execution and notarization arrangements where appropriate

Invitation & support letters

An invitation or support letter should accurately explain the relationship, purpose and relevant circumstances. We assist with preparing or reviewing the document and, where required, an appropriate declaration. A notarized letter does not itself establish immigration eligibility or guarantee that an application will be approved.

How we help

  • Invitation and support-document preparation
  • Identity and relationship details review
  • Declaration or notarization where required

Attestations, identity & other declarations

Organizations may request proof-of-life, residency, identity or other attestations. We review the form, its intended use and the recipient's requirements to determine the appropriate service. Contact the office first rather than assuming that every form can be completed in the same way.

How we help

  • Proof-of-life and residency-form enquiries
  • Identity and marital-status declarations
  • Other documents assessed individually

Witnessing & document execution

Signing requirements can differ by document type, recipient and jurisdiction. We help identify the requested witnessing or notarization service and explain what needs to be completed before the appointment. Unless instructed otherwise, do not sign a document in advance when witnessing your signature is part of the service.

How we help

  • Review of execution instructions
  • Witnessing and notarization enquiries
  • Identification and appointment preparation

Mobile & remote appointment enquiries

For a person who cannot readily attend the office, a mobile appointment may be arranged subject to availability and location. Ask about remote commissioning where the document and applicable rules permit it. Not every document can be completed remotely, and any travel, technology, identity-verification and fee arrangements must be confirmed first.

How we help

  • Enquiries about mobile attendance
  • Assessment of remote-service suitability
  • Advance confirmation of documents, fees and logistics

What to prepare.

  • Valid government-issued identification as requested by the office.
  • Original documents and any copies requiring certification.
  • The receiving organization's written instructions.
  • Unsigned documents when signature witnessing is required.

Keep sensitive information for the appropriate intake process. The initial enquiry form is not for evidence or document uploads.

Important: Notarization does not guarantee acceptance by a government, court, bank or overseas recipient. Additional authentication, translation or legalization requirements may need separate attention.

Common questions.

Should I sign before arriving?

Do not sign in advance when the service requires witnessing your signature. Contact the office about the instructions for your particular document.

Can every document be notarized online?

No. The document, receiving organization and applicable rules determine whether a remote service is suitable. The office must confirm the arrangements.

Does notarization include drafting or legal advice?

Not necessarily. Ask whether your appointment includes drafting, review, independent legal advice or commissioning only, and confirm the applicable fee.
