03 / 01Visitor visa applications & extensions
A visitor visa application should explain the purpose of travel, the proposed stay and the applicant's circumstances clearly. We review the application history and supporting documents, help organize the evidence, and prepare the application or extension within the agreed scope. If a previous visa application was refused, the refusal reasons should be assessed before deciding the next step.
How we help
- Visitor-visa application preparation
- Purpose-of-visit and supporting-evidence review
- Visitor-record and extension enquiries
03 / 02Super visa applications
A super visa application involves requirements specific to eligible parents and grandparents and the Canadian host. We review the proposed visit, relationship evidence, financial material and applicable insurance requirements, and help organize the visa application. Current program requirements should be checked when the application is prepared.
How we help
- Applicant and host document review
- Financial and insurance-document assessment
- Application preparation and correspondence
03 / 03Study permit applications
A study permit application should connect the proposed program to the applicant's circumstances and address the requirements of the application. We assist with the study plan, educational history, financial documentation and other supporting information. Where an application was refused, we review the reasons before discussing a new application or other available route.
How we help
- Initial study-permit applications
- Study-permit extensions and status questions
- Study plans, financial evidence and refusal review
03 / 04Work permit & PGWP applications
A work permit application depends on the permit category and the applicant's eligibility. We review the relevant employment, study or status history and supporting documents before preparing or assessing a work-permit application, extension or post-graduation work permit matter. We do not assume that every program, employer or applicant qualifies for a particular route.
How we help
- Work-permit category and document assessment
- PGWP application and eligibility questions
- Extensions and employment-related status enquiries
03 / 05Express Entry
An Express Entry profile needs accurate information and a realistic assessment of the underlying program requirements. We help review work history, education, language results and supporting evidence, and assist with profile or application preparation within the agreed mandate. A profile is not an invitation, and eligibility does not guarantee selection.
How we help
- Profile and program-requirement review
- Employment and qualification-document preparation
- Application support after an invitation where applicable
03 / 06Provincial nomination & AAIP
Provincial nominee programs, including the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program, have stream-specific requirements that can change. We assess the applicable pathway, help organize the provincial-stage evidence and discuss the federal stage where relevant. Provincial nomination and a final permanent residence decision are different steps.
How we help
- PNP / AAIP pathway assessment
- Provincial application and supporting-document preparation
- Coordination of provincial and federal requirements
03 / 07Extensions, restoration & procedural responses
An expiring document, a request for more information or a procedural fairness letter should be reviewed in its full context. We assess the applicable category, dates and history, explain potential options and prepare the response within the agreed scope. Do not assume that an application automatically extends every form of authorization.
How we help
- Status and application-history review
- Extension or restoration assessment
- Responses to document requests and fairness concerns
03 / 08Citizenship applications
Citizenship preparation involves a careful review of the applicant's circumstances and supporting history. We help organize residence and travel information, review required documents and respond to issues that arise in the application process. Delayed citizenship matters may require a separate assessment under our Federal Court practice.
How we help
- Citizenship application-document review
- Residence and travel-history organization
- Application correspondence and issue assessment
What to prepare.
- The application category and your intended goal.
- Current permits or status documents for a secure later review.
- Copies of earlier applications, refusals and recent correspondence.
- A clear education, employment and travel history.
Keep sensitive information for the appropriate intake process. The initial enquiry form is not for evidence or document uploads.
Important: Program rules and documentary requirements change. This page describes service areas, not an eligibility assessment or a guarantee of an invitation, permit or approval.
Common questions.
Can you review a refusal before I apply again?
Yes. A consultation can address the refusal reasons, earlier application and available options. A repeat application without addressing the actual issues may not be the right next step.
Is a provincial nomination the same as permanent residence?
No. Provincial nomination and the federal permanent residence decision are separate parts of the process. The requirements for each relevant stage must be considered.
Can you guarantee processing times?
No. Government processing and decision-making are outside the office's control. We can explain the steps within our mandate and assess concerns about a delay.
