Your immigration questions.
A considered next step.
Contact the office to discuss an immigration application, a refusal, a delayed decision or another immigration-law enquiry.
Begin with your circumstances.
Whether your question concerns an application, a decision or a delay, the first conversation should establish what you need help with and what information is available. Contact the office to discuss whether it can assist with your immigration matter.
Applications and status questions
Enquire about assistance relating to your immigration application and the next steps you are considering. The office can discuss the type of service available for your particular situation.
Refusals and other decisions
When making an initial enquiry about a decision, identify the general type of application and say whether there may be an approaching deadline. Ask how to provide the decision and supporting information through the appropriate intake process.
Delayed decisions
For a question about a delayed application, mention the application type and that your enquiry concerns a delay. The office can explain what information it needs to assess whether it can assist.
Preparing an initial enquiry
Provide your name, contact details and a brief description of the type of matter. Avoid including passport numbers, client identification numbers, medical details or other sensitive information in an unsolicited email. Ask the office for instructions before sending documents.
For a potentially urgent matter, telephone as well as emailing. Do not assume that a deadline is being managed until the office has confirmed the representation and its scope.
